Shoes

Stella is addicted to shoes!
Every time she gets into my closet she pulls out as many shoes as she can and wears them.
I went Black Friday shopping so after I got back I went to sleep and Scott watched Stella.
He caught her trying to wear my high heels.
Lets just say she is extremely good at walking in heels.

She wore these shoes for probably 20 minutes.
What a sweet little girl, what would I do with out her!

Thanksgiving

We switch off years every holiday but we are very lucky because both our families live in St. George.
Well this year was the Madsen family Thanksgiving but I forgot to take pictures because Stella was out of control! :(
So I have only pictures of the Dalton Thanksgiving, next year I am really going to have to take a lot at the Madsen's!!

My mom made carmel apples for everyone and great center pieces.
Everyone but mom helping clean up after dinner/lunch
Dan and Laura my wonderful siblings

My cute cousins

My Dad and Mac looking the exact same reading the newspaper.

It was a great Thanksgiving and I can't believe I didn't getting any pictures of the Madsen's Thanksgiving!
I am so grateful for my family and friends
and definitely my wonderful husband and my little girl Stella.

Long Hair

Stella's hair is getting so long!
It lays on her face and she doesn't even care, I try to keep it out of her face during the day but after baths I just let be where ever.

Rally: Day 2

{10.17.2010}

I know I am really far behind in posting but I haven't had a free day in months!
So I will try to catch up a little.

The second day of the rally we decided to go up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
We thought that because it was a Sunday that there wouldn't be very many people but we were wrong it was packed!

Of course Stella sleeping on the ride!

Tony was able to make it late Saturday night to join us on our Sunday ride

I couldn't get a picture of Tatum (Mike's wife) so this is it

This is the sticker of our first rally back in 2006, it is on the only vehicle that was at the first rally.

Day 2 group picture
Tony, Mike, Tatum, Stella, Scott, Steve (me taking the picture)

Besides there being a million people up Big Cottonwood Canyon it turned out great!
Can't wait for next years rally
I love these people!

Deals to Meals

I love Deals to Meals! I have saved tons of money by using Deals to Meals and each week they have a weeks worth of recipes that I can use for dinner or dessert.
I also have been following their monthly food storage and emergency preparedness, where they tell you what to buy that month (it is usual one thing like water, or wheat) for your food storage. It has helped me get my food storage together.

Rally: Day 1

5th Annual
Bonneville Dubs Rally
{10.15.2010}
Over the weekend of the 15th we had our Volkswagen Rally, it is just friends are family.
We had to have it short this year because we couldn't get all of our schedules to match.
The first day it was Me, Scott, Steve, Mike, Dan and Stella.

It started out Saturday morning pretty good but after about 15 minutes on the Belt Route we realized that one vehicle was already in trouble...Scott's caddy!

Mike got shocked pretty bad trying to figure out what was wrong with Scott's Caddy.
We ended up leaving Scott's truck in the parking lot at Olympus Hills.

All the vehicles that started the rally
Steve's, Scott's, Mike's and Mine

Taking her morning nap during the rally

Well Steve truck started acting up so we took an exit somewhere on immigration and left Steve's truck! So we only had 2 vehicles left, Mine and Mike's

 Stopping at Mountain Bald
We drove through immigration to Kamas up into the Uintas

Stella loves her Uncle Dan
Hopefully Dan will have his own Caddy next year!

Mike and Steve decided they were going to try and break that branch/tree, well after jumping on it for a second Steve fell backwards off the branch right onto his back.
He was very lucky he didn't hit that rock!

I didn't take any pictures once we got up into the Uintas
I did video tape the boys pushing down a HUGE tree.
We did take a group shot but it was on Mike's camera.
When we got back to the car Stella was exhausted and I realized that she had lost her binkie somewhere on the mountain!
Well she cried almost the whole way to Kamas!
Luckily there was a grocery store and Scott went in and got her a new binkie,
but it was the wrong size. (she will only use the 0 month ones)
So cried a little more but was pretty good until we got back to Salt Lake where I had a spare!
But we had to stop and pick up both the trucks that weren't working and limp them back to Salt Lake.

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

This year I decided to make Stella's Halloween costume,
I thought that because she is so in love with watching Tinkerbell that that is who she should be.
I thought for my first costume it turned out pretty good.
Of course it wasn't perfect and I ended up needing a couple safety pins but it was good besides that, haha

Cousin Ike and Anna with Stella

She would rather play with the rocks and sticks then smile at the camera.

I am glad Stella actually like wearing her costume this year.
She loved going to everyone's door and taking candy out of the bowl.
She would either blow them a kiss after or say "tank you"
She wasn't afraid of any of the costumes or anything, she didn't like the house's that played loud music and she would cover her ears.

I need to raid my mom's and sister-in-laws camera and see if they got a good one of Stella in her costume.
I just love Halloween!

The Park

{8.30.2010}

Since has been cooling down (it's not in the high 100's) we have been going to the park in the evening.
Stella has been loving it!
The park we go to has a dog run area and Stella will stand at the fence with her hand through trying to get he dogs to lick her.
She can go down the slide by herself and she loves swinging.
I hope it doesn't get cold to fast so we can keep doing this.
