Wednesday Wanderings

Stella

1. She is finally in a big bed and did AMAZING for the first 3 days.

Now she falls out of bed about 2 times a night.

I found some ideas I am going to try to get her not to fall out.

2. She decided today to not eat at all

No idea why, so frustrating!

3. If you tell her she is a big girl or if she wants to be a big girl she will tell you she is already big like Teeny (her cousin Anna)

4. She would rather be outside then inside any time of the day

and asks constantly to go outside.

5. She cried for 20 minutes at work because Papa and Abby (the dog) had to leave

If they weren't at work I don't think I would die

Papa keeps her so entertained and Abby lets her torture her

Ducks

There have been so many ducks at the pond because of the wonderful weather.

So we decided to go feed them

Luckily I had some old hotdog buns

Afterwards we headed over to the movies to watch The Lorax with our friends Clyde and Brittney

It was a great movie

I can't wait till it comes out of dvd so we can watch it all the time.

Family Night

{March 12}

Our good friends the Davenports invited us to "camping" family home evening.

We went out in the hills behind the Green Valley Spa

and enjoyed a nice fire and hotdogs.

And the kids had a blast running in the dirt and climbing on rocks.

We were all extremely dirty and stinky by the time we got home!

We had so much fun!

We are so excited it is getting warm and almost camping season!

Wednesday Wanderings

I decided I need to write down more about what and how Stella is doing for my records, and how I have been doing so I am going to attempt to post every Wednesday

Will see how long it lasts but I will try

Stella

1. She is amazing at playing pretend!

She plays by herself & imaginary firends all day

2. Asks to go outside multiple times a day

3. Has gotten really good at ignoring everything I say, we have MAJOR listening issues.

I am hoping it is an age thing and will go away quickly.

4. She would rather be at work then at home (opposite of me)

5. She is really good at writing letters but still doesn't know the name of each letter.

Scott & Rachel

Rachel: I am pretty much back to normal, I have no physical restrictions and my scar doesn't hurt or cause me any pain any more. I have pretty much all good days now but every once in awhile I get down. By doctor's orders I am not allowed to get pregnant for sometime to make sure my uterus is healed. (unless I want another c-section, which I don't)

I am still working as the Office Manager for my Dad at Red Wall part time then I work part time for Scott (Homestead Seasonings) doing their Quick Books.

Scott:  Is working hard, Homestead Seasonings has been talking and has had meetings with Associated Grocers and Harmons to get there seasoning/rubs on the shelves.

They should hear back in the next month or two.

And Albertsons has their product and they hope to hear from them before BBQ season.

He also started a t-shirt company, TwillCo, on etsy and have been selling a lot of shirts.

All in all we are super busy and happy.

Disneyland

{March 3}

We went to Disneyland!

Since we were already in California we decided to head to Disneyland

I was so excited to take Stella so she could see the Princesses

well it was PACKED!!

It was over an hour wait to see any Princesses so we saw them all from a distance and during the parade.

But she did get to see Chip N Dale, Minnie Mouse, Pinocchio and Mickey Mouse.

We went with the Madsen's and friends

(Becky and Alan, Greg and Lindsey, Ike, Anna, Steve, Jake and Sharon, Clyde and Brittney, Mike and Tatum, and Jason)

 Stella HATED the Peter Pan ride

She thought the crocodile was going to get us and it freaked her out!

I didn't take many pictures because it was crazy

Every ride was 60 plus minutes and finding a spot to put the stroller was insane

I hope when we have the opportunity to go again that it won't be like that

Stella LOVED the tea cups (which I got on video on my phone and we went multiple times)

She liked the Toon Town roller coaster the next day but cried immediately after.

Once the sun went down and started to get a little cold, people left and then it was LOTS of fun.

We got on rides really fast and we didn't have to fight any crowds or park the stroller a mile away.

We left at 10:30 and Stella fell asleep holding her popcorn before we even got out of the park.

She is still talking about it and asks to go back almost everyday.

Can't wait for next time!!

Mission Bay

{March 2}

After the luncheon we headed back to the hotel to rest

As the sun was going down we headed over to Mission Bay to the "beach" and to see the sunset

It was not the best beach because the sand wasn't soft

The beach was a nice relaxing end to a busy stressful couple of days

And we saw some crazy people working out and hanging out on the beach

Wedding Day

{March 2}

Our friends Clyde and Brittney watched Stella while we went to the temple first thing in the morning.

The San Diego temple is BEAUTIFUL

I wish I could of taken a picture of the garden inside but I don't think that would be appropriate

We were in a hurry to get to the luncheon

The luncheon was at the Olive Garden

It was pretty good but they were really slow 

and the brought the kids food last so Stella was losing it by the time the food got there.

Wedding Reception

{March 1}

We headed to San Diego on Feb. 29th for Scotts brothers wedding.

I spent a good part of Thursday (March 1st) with Lindsey setting up for the reception.

It turned out BEAUTIFUL

Lindsey is an AMAZING wedding planner/florist/decorator

(The pictures aren't the best because it got dark before I was able to take pictures. And the lighting was lacking)

The reception was great!

The building looked right over the Mission Bay Harbor and was gorgeous

There was dancing after the line but I was busy dancing and forgot to take pictures, hopefully I will be able to find someone who took some pics
