Kitty

Stella has been torturing the cat lately
Luckily the cat has been okay with her or it could get ugly (she is 19 human years old)
The other day I caught her trying to get the cat to wear a crown.
When the cat won't keep it on she wanted me to try, I declined.
I am just grateful she isn't scared of the cat anymore and she will actually pet her.

Running

The other day Anna was all bundled up to go running so the next day Stella wanted to go running so this is the outfit she put on...

What a good looking girl!

Free Time

During our free time lately we have just been staying at home relaxing.
I haven't gotten all my energy back yet so going to the store is a bit hard.

Stella gets all dressed up and we play EVERYTHING
dolls, baby's, kitchen, coloring, painting, we read books and watching The Lion King 3-5 times a day.

Everyday has been so much with Stella lately
She is so funny and crazy!
She has been practicing writing letters everyday, she LOVES it!!
I show her a couple times how to write the letter then she can almost do it perfect!

Christmas Day

We woke up and opened presents with Stella and just played.
We were supposed to have Christmas at the Madsen's but I was in too much pain and couldn't get out of my chair.
So all the Madsen's came over and opened presents at our house.

Then we took a picture of us in our Twill Co. shirts.
(Thank you everyone for letting me stay in my chair)
It was a very nice Christmas, I only got out of the lazy boy to go to the bathroom but it was still good.

Christmas evening my family came over and we opened presents again.
I didn't even get my camera out, I was to worn out.
I will have to see if anyone else took pictures because I can't remember.

All I can say is we are very excited for 2012 because 2011 was not awesome!

Christmas Eve

Scott and I left the hospital at 6:00pm and headed over to the Madsen's for Christmas Eve Dinner
It was nice to be out of the hospital but also extremely hard.
I didn't think about leaving while I was in the hospital but leaving without a child was extremely difficult.

But it was nice to be with family, enjoying each others company.
I wasn't able to take very many pictures because I was laying down almost the entire time.

After dinner the grandkids opened up new jammies
and Grammy was nice enough to give Stella a bath
She LOVED it, she hasn't had bath in the sink in a long time.

Opening up their new nativities from Grammy and Papa

This is how I spent Christmas Eve

Then Papa read his Christmas Story.

We then took Stella home so that we could be with her on Christmas morning.
It was a rough night.
I slept on the lazy boy and was up most of the night
Scott took care of Stella who was up a lot and then was up at 4:30am.
It had nothing to do with Christmas she still doesn't understand that part, I think it was because she had been sleeping at my parents and playing non stop.

Professional Pictures

{Dec. 22}
There is a CNA at the hospital, Ella, who is also a part time photographer and she took these beautiful pictures of Atticus.
I didn't post these photos to make anyone feel uncomfortable in any way.
I think they are beautiful and I want them in my blog book.

Burial

{Dec. 27}

We were able to bury Atticus on December 27th at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
I don't know what we would have done without McMillan Mortuary because they did the whole thing for free, and for my Grandma Margo for donating a plot.
They were absolutely amazing to work with and I would suggest them to anyone.
Because it was Christmas McMillan and Tonaquint Cemetery were closed the whole weekend.
But with McMillan's help they were able to contact the Cemetery and get everything scheduled for us.
They even did the burials for the other 2 stillborns that were born the same day as Atticus and the day after.

All our families were in town and they wanted to be there for the burial so it was amazing that everything worked out so everyone could be there.

Eulogy: Scott
Dedication: Darius Gray

Everyone did amazing! It couldn't have been any better.
We then had a nice lunch at my parents house. It was so nice to sit down and talk to everyone.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the lunch.

Aunt Lindsey helping Stella pick a flower off Atticus' casket
Stella has been absolutely amazing through this whole thing.
She even tries to take care of me, I love her so much

I am so grateful Darius could make it from Salt Lake to be with us.
We name Atticus after Darius so it really meant a lot to us, more then I could ever say.

I couldn't bend down yet so Scott helped my touch the casket one last time before we left.

I am so grateful for everyone who has helped us these last couple weeks.
Thank you for the hospital for being so understanding and sweet.
Thank you to my parents and Scott's parents for taking Stella everyday for over a week.
Then for letting me stay at my parents house everyday for a week while Scott went to work.
Thank you for everyone for the wonderful meals and beautiful flowers.
Thanks to everyone who let me cry on their shoulder.
Thank you to the Bishop and his wonderful wife, who sadly past away a week later.
There have been so many people who have helped and been there for us but I can't remember everyone at this moment.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
I will probably to thanking everyone for the next year.

Madsen Pics

Because it is so hard to get all the Madsen's together for family pictures Becky got outfits for all the kids and had the parents take pictures for her.
The dress was super cute
and Stella loved being all dressed up.

I am so grateful for this little girl
she helps me get through every single day
I don't know what I would do without her she lights up my life.
