Rally: Day 1

5th Annual
Bonneville Dubs Rally
{10.15.2010}
Over the weekend of the 15th we had our Volkswagen Rally, it is just friends are family.
We had to have it short this year because we couldn't get all of our schedules to match.
The first day it was Me, Scott, Steve, Mike, Dan and Stella.

It started out Saturday morning pretty good but after about 15 minutes on the Belt Route we realized that one vehicle was already in trouble...Scott's caddy!

Mike got shocked pretty bad trying to figure out what was wrong with Scott's Caddy.
We ended up leaving Scott's truck in the parking lot at Olympus Hills.

All the vehicles that started the rally
Steve's, Scott's, Mike's and Mine

Taking her morning nap during the rally

Well Steve truck started acting up so we took an exit somewhere on immigration and left Steve's truck! So we only had 2 vehicles left, Mine and Mike's

 Stopping at Mountain Bald
We drove through immigration to Kamas up into the Uintas

Stella loves her Uncle Dan
Hopefully Dan will have his own Caddy next year!

Mike and Steve decided they were going to try and break that branch/tree, well after jumping on it for a second Steve fell backwards off the branch right onto his back.
He was very lucky he didn't hit that rock!

I didn't take any pictures once we got up into the Uintas
I did video tape the boys pushing down a HUGE tree.
We did take a group shot but it was on Mike's camera.
When we got back to the car Stella was exhausted and I realized that she had lost her binkie somewhere on the mountain!
Well she cried almost the whole way to Kamas!
Luckily there was a grocery store and Scott went in and got her a new binkie,
but it was the wrong size. (she will only use the 0 month ones)
So cried a little more but was pretty good until we got back to Salt Lake where I had a spare!
But we had to stop and pick up both the trucks that weren't working and limp them back to Salt Lake.

Great pictures and it looks like a lot of fun. You'll have to tell me what a caddy rally is sometime.
