Thanksgiving Walk

After we had dessert we headed to the park (school) to play.
We all headed straight to the swings.
I tried but by this time my hernia scar was killing me from the baby pushing on it

Because a couple years ago there is a picture of Anna, Laura and I flipped upside down we thought we should do it again, but I couldn't get upside down pregnant and Laura was doing other things
So Dan, Anna and Uncle Jeff decided to take a turn
But they decided to have a competition of who could hang upside down the longest

Anna started laughing almost immediately and Dan couldn't stop moving
Jeff on the other hand held super still and WON

My cousin Adam decided to try and climb to the roof of the school, and made it.
While he was up there he through ALL the balls down from the roof
About 6 tennis balls, 4 four square balls, soccer balls and other

Grammy . Stella    Mac

 Erin . Laura

 Our wonderful self portrait
haha

 Stella . Aunt Terry

Everyone decided to have an ultimate four square competition.
We went by 6th and 7th grade rules
because Erin teaches those grades in P.E.
I didn't get involved because I was wearing high heel boots so it was a little hard
but everyone had a blast laughing and screaming.

We all headed back to my parents house to relax
Then Scott and I went over to the Madsen's to hang out for a bit.

At the last minute (9:00pm) Lindsey, Brittney and I decided to hit Black Friday at Wal-Mart then Target.
We made it to Wal-Mart at 10:10 and it was OUT . OF . CONTROL!!
We started walking around trying to figure out where things might be.
ALL the movies were gone (after 10 minutes) but we found 2 steam mops for Brittney and I and Lindsey ended up finding a crock pot and couple things she wanted.

We then headed to Target, the line was down to Lowe's
So we got in line and waited and waited.
They were only letting 30 people in at a time!
We were only going for movies so we decided it wasn't worth it.
But it ended up being fun and we were home by 1:30am instead of 7:00am
I will definitely not be going next year if they open up this early again!

Thanksgiving Pictures

I was planning on taking a family picture during Thanksgiving but I only ended up taking pictures of Stella...oops!

Thanksgiving Meal

We had Thanksgiving this year at the Dalton's
It included my family(except Pete and Michelle), Margo & Mac, Grandma Hooper, Jeff & Terry, Adam and Erin
Everyone made delicious food and it was fun being together.

I asked Stella to go find her jacket (cardigan) so I could take some pictures of her.
She said it was in Laura's room, after a few minutes I realized it was a little quiet so I went looking for her.
As I turned the corner this is what I found...
Wear Laura's beanie and carrying her LARGE bag.
She told me she was going to school.

Pregnancy Post: 20 & 21 Weeks

 (Week 20 size of a banana 10" long, Week 21 size of a carrot 10 1/2" long)

OVER HALF WAY!!

I have been so busy that I haven't been able to keep up on my posts.

He is still super low, i am exhausted all the time but my doctor said I can drink caffeine every once in awhile if I need to, so I have been drinking some here and there.

When you ask Stella if the baby is a baby sister or brother she always reply's with sister, hopefully she will understand that it is a boy or she might be really disappointed.

At my doctor's appointment on Friday I was measuring about 4 days further along then originally thought but my due date will stay the same for now.

The last couple of days have been pretty crazy.
(The following information is more in depth for my blog book)
Friday 18th - I had my 20 week appointment and they did the big ultrasound to make sure everything was growing correctly. Well the nurse notice something wrong with the baby's heart so Dr. Chalmer's came in and looked. He said it looked like the baby has Ebstein's Anomaly.  He sat down with me and explained everything then he scheduled me an appointment with another doctor for Tuesday 22nd.
Then I  immediately headed to Salt Lake for a bridal shower, so I didn't have anytime to really look into it or think about it over the weekend. Which I think ended up being a good thing because I didn't worry about it all weekend just Monday.

Tuesday 22nd - I met with Dr. Jackson at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service office in Labor and Delivery inside the hospital. First a nurse did another full ultrasound to check everything on the baby. Then the doctor came in and  was kind of acting like there was no way it could be Ebstien's Anomaly but after looking at the heart and determined it was Ebstein's Anomaly. He said I would need to go up to Primary Children's Hospital in a couple of weeks for a more in depth exam of the baby's heart to determine the severity (mild to severe). He also informed me that I would most likely have to have the baby at Primary Children's because there is not a doctor in St. George that is specialized this Anomaly.
I will most likely have the baby in March because they will have to induce me.

It hasn't been to stressful because I know I am in good hands because my OB/GYN caught the issue early and the doctor's will be prepared as soon as I go into labor.

I am excited and anxious for my appointment in Salt Lake because I want more information and I want to know what to expect. Hopefully with the Holidays the next couple of weeks will go by fast.

Bridal Shower

I headed up to Salt Lake over the weekend for my future sister-in-law, Jessica's, bridal shower.
We had a whole day planned out and it was long.

We all headed to Shear Explosion to have Sharon do Jessica's hair.

Rachel the Maid of Honor

Then we rushed over to the Grand America because we were running a little bit behind.
The birdal shower Tea Party was wonderful.
We had tea or hot chocolate, finger sandwhiches and finger desserts
(I don't have all the pictures yet, but here are some)

Dress Ups

Ever since I first let Stella wear her Halloween costume she asks to wear a princess dress
EVERYDAY
We we are at home she wants to wear her Snow White dress or her Ariel dress
Then when we go to Grammy's she wants to wear this purple fairy dress

What a pretty fairy!

I don't mind her dressing up but I hate the way she acts when she doesn't get her way
We have been going to time out a lot over princess dresses.
I already to do make repairs to her Ariel dress she just got a week ago!

Pregnancy Post: 19 Weeks

(Baby boy is the size of an heirloom tomato, weight 8 1/2 ounces, length 6 inches head to bottom)

I am tried all the time, I never have any energy!

I feel like this baby is sitting A LOT lower then Stella, there is pressure all day.

I think I have felt him move but I can't be for certain.

If anyone is talking about the baby Stella likes to tell them that the baby is in mommy's tummy.
I also have to remind her to not kick me in the stomach when she is going crazy.

I feel a lot more emotional this pregnancy,  my moods go up and down pretty quickly.
I think I might be driving Scott crazy but he hasn't said anything to me just yet.

I am definetly gaining weight faster this pregnancy! It could be from all my emotional eating
and the fact that I am not thowing it up this time.

I have been trying to not think about all the items I need for the baby, I want to get through
the Holidays before I start working on things for the baby.
Will see how well I do.

Goodbye

Binki

Last Friday (28th) we completely got rid of Stella's binki.
We had been telling her all week that on Friday it was going in the garbage and she would say okay.
Well Friday came, it went in the garbage and she was fine for a couple hours.
Then she wanted it and cried a lot.
So we headed over to my mom's house to take her mind off of it
and it worked.
Friday night was pretty long it took her 2 hours to fall asleep and she woke up 3 times looking for it.
But we made it through! Yea!!
The rest of the weekend went well, luckily because of Halloween there was a lot going on.
Before bed she would ask for it a couple times and cry because it was in the garbage but then would fall asleep.
She now has no issues going to bed and never asks for her binki.
She is even sleep better through the night and longer, so this is also a plus!

She talked a lot with her binki but now it is nonstop talking and it is loud but we love it.
She keeps getting funnier every single day.

Since labor day we have conquered
1. Potty Training - check (she still wears a diaper at night but wakes up dry 80% of the time)
2. Getting rid of the binki - check
Now our next step is a big bed, that step will come after Christmas.
Then we will be more prepared for the baby!

Happy Birthday

To my wonderful husband
Scott

He is an amazing husband and father and I am so grateful for him!
He works so hard and takes such good care of Stella and I (and our baby boy)
I don't know what we would do without him
We Love You!

HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY!!

Halloween Night

We went over to my parents to have some pizza for dinner then go trick or treating with Papa.
Luckily we showed up as my cousins where there so we got to take a couple pics with them.

Abby even got dressed up for the occasion,
Not by choice.

Stella and Papa before they went trick or treating
I am not sure what Papa is, he found everything about 15 before they left.

After going with Papa we headed over to Country Lane in Santa Clara to go trick or treating with Greg and Lindsey's family.
It was already so dark when we got there (8pm)
that I didn't even take my camera out.
I am thinking next year we will only go trick or treating for about an hour then let Stella pass out candy at the house cause she LOVED that.

Happy Halloween!

Ward Trunk or Treat

{October 29}

Our ward had a big trunk or treat in the church parking lot
So we invited Greg and Lindsey's family to join us and we even decorated our trunk

 Anna. Aunt Burger. Stella. Ike

Aunt Burger. Uncle Greg. Scott

Stella wasn't sure about the giant spider, and really didn't like it on Aunt Burger's head.

Our beautiful trunk, haha. The lights actually were lite but you can't tell in the picture.
It was lots of fun but there were so many kids it was kind of out of control.
