Papa's Party

{3.19.2013}

My mom wasn't planning on having a party for my Dad but she watched Stella that day and it all went down hill from there.

My mom was getting flowers for my Dad at Costco and thats when it went down hill

Stella didn't like the flowers my mom picked so Stella picked them out.

Then Stella wanted a cake, balloons and decorations.

Stella threw a great party and I think my Dad loved it!

Four Wheeling

{3.11.2013}

We headed out after work to have a little picnic and to go four wheeling.

It was perfect because Laura and Jared were in St. George for Spring Break.

 Our make shift campfire.

We roasted hotdogs (which was a slow process)

and roasted marshmallows, which were hard as a rock and tasted nasty.

 Stella has the biggest crush on Jared and follows him around everywhere

and wants to talk to him none stop!

 

Scott took me on a slow short ride on the four wheeler

I couldn't chance going into early labor!

My Dad is an amazing Papa and Stella couldn't be luckier!

Pregnancy Post

30 Weeks

I can't believe I am 30 Weeks!

We are now in the count down.

My stomach gets super hard and is uncomfortable most of the day.

I don't know if that is braxton hicks contractions

or what it is

Baby girl moves all day long still and I love it

I had my doctor's appointment last week

I had my glucose test, Tdap shot and my Rogram shot

It was a long doctor appointment but all went well

I'm measuring great

and her heart beat is at 165 bpm

I gained 5 pounds since my last appointment!

Oops, my doctor I think it was a problem

but I have been trying to get a little better.

That night I couldn't sleep on either side

I had my Tdap in my right arm

and my Rogram in my left hip.

All I wanted to do was to was sleep on my stomach

 Stella asks everyday when the baby is coming

When I tell her not for awhile she asks if she is coming in 5 weeks

She is really excited and so am I

I have another appointment at 33 1/2 weeks

then I will start going every 2 weeks

This is pregnancy is moving quick now

I have less than 8 weeks less of work

and hopefully have the baby right after that!

Pregnancy Post

28 Weeks

Took this picture at night so it is bad lighting, oops!

This pregnancy is starting to fly by!

She is so active! I am extremely grateful about it 

but it makes me so tired!

Some days at work I feel like I need to lay down just to stretch my stomach

She is the most active when I lay down in bed

it usually lasts 5-10 minutes then I can fall asleep.

I have less then 10 weeks left at work!

I will work from home after the baby is born

but I will have a couple weeks off just to enjoy her.

I think my Mom might have a heart attack

because she is taking over while I am gone.

My back pain is okay as long as as walk/run everyday

I have been slacking this week so it hurts a bit.

I can't do many of the stretches the doctor told me to do anymore

my belly won't let me

A sister in my ward said, "you didn't just eat too much, right?"

I laughed and told her no, that I was pregnant

She didn't dare ask me!

I sleep pretty good but I REALLY want to sleep on my stomach

I am trying to sleep sort of on my stomach 

so that I can pretend, it works some nights.

I told Stella how many weeks until the baby comes

and now she asks me if the baby is coming in 5 days or 10 days

I have to tell her no and she gets all sad.

I wore my first pair of maternity pants yesterday

I still have a pair of regular jeans that fit but I was washing them.

I hate maternity pants!

The band gets all bunchy and I feel like I am always fixing them.

I don't mind the shirts or dresses.

I am already getting a little nesting going on

I feel like I need to clean my house like crazy

If only I had the energy by the time Stella goes down there is no hope

I have another appointment at the end of next week

I will have my glucose test done and I might be getting my Rh shot too

I am not 100% sure
