So Big

Stella is getting so big and is so much fun to watch. She doesn't like to be laying down, she either wants to be sitting up or to be standing (she can't do either yet by herself). She loves sitting in her bumbo or sitting on someones lap. If she is in her bouncer, swing or her car seat she will sit there and kick her legs and lifting her head to sit up. Stella hates to be swaddled! Her hands are always above her head when she sleeps or next to her face. Her hands are always cold so at night I have to put socks on her hands.

Stella has the cutest sad face but it is really hard to catch on camera because she moves around a lot when she is crying, that is why this picture is so fuzzy.

Stella also has a very big smile. She is smiley after she wakes up in the morning and after every feeding. She is a lot of fun to play with and to make smile.

Birthday

Tuesday was my 6 year old cousins Birthday so I got the wonderful opportunity to make her a Tinkerbell cake.

I am getting a lot faster at decorating cakes, after making the frosting and mixing the colors this only took about an hour! A lot faster then some of my other ones.
I definitely like making cakes, it is very relaxing.

Stella loves Uncle Dan and Uncle Dan loves Stella. Its hard to get picture of Stella because she is always moving!

Crazy 4 Days

The last 4 days have been so crazy.

1. Saturday we went on an early Easter picnic out at Warner Valley sand dunes. Stella didn't enjoy it as much as I would have thought. (she is only 2 months, i keep forgetting) Then Scott went to Preisthood while I hung out with my mom, sisters and sister-in-law. Scott then tried fixing Anna's car that has a front step because Laura reversed the Jeep into Anna's car on accident. He ending up undoing a wrong bolt and getting freon in his face from the AC, so we had to leave early.
2. Sunday Scott woke up sick! We had General Conference scones at 5:00 and by 8:00 Scott was really sick. He was up all night throwing up. (Stella was up too because she won't to see why Scott and I were up)
3. Monday I had to keep Stella in another part of the house because Scott was running a fever and throwing up. Stella still wasn't eating, since her shot she has lost her appetite and just cries till she falls asleep. I slept on the floor in the playroom so that Stella wouldn't catch Scotts flu.
4. Tuesday Scott is still sick but is not as bad, yea!! Stella still isn't eating but we are getting there. I am changing pediatricians so maybe next time it won't be so bad.

I am pretty worn out, I can't wait till everyone is healthy again.

2 Months

Stella had her 2 month check up yesterday. She also got a shot which she did not enjoy at all. She only cried for a minute then calmed down.
Last night she got a really bad fever of 103 and was just crying none stop. I called the doctor and found out that the nurse who gave Stella her shot was supposed to give us paperwork on the shot and that it does cause some children to have fevers. We were supposed to give her Tylenol right after the shot, but we had no idea. That is what happens being a new parent you have to learn everything the hard way. She made it through the night and is finally eating and sleeping again, yeah!!!
