Wont' Swim

{6.8.2010}

I have taken Stella swimming a couple of times at my parents house this summer but she has decided that she doesn't like getting in the water.
All she wants to do is throw all the toys in and yelling at everyone else who is swimming.
I don't know why she doesn't like swimming she loves any other type of water just not pool water.
(as of July she likes swimming now, she went swimming with some cousins and now loves it)

 I know her swimsuit doesn't fit, it is hard to find a suit that fits over her head and her butt.

New Car & 16 Months

{6.5.2010}

We decided it was time to buy Stella a car, no not a really but a cozy coupe.
She is always stealing the neighbors and then won't let anyone else into the car, so we broke down and bought her her own.
She is in love with it, she gets in it when she knows we have to leave, I think she thinks we can't get her in there. She throws tantrums when we get her out and she is not done.
She has learned to push the horn and she will sit in it and watch tv for about 10 minutes so that is amazing!
I have caught her a couple times hold her baby in one hand, my cell phone in her other hand and trying to drive at the same time, were in for it, haha.
I  just love this little girl so much I can't believe she is 16 months old.

Memorial Day

{5.30.2010}

On Memorial Day we had a dinner at my Grandma Hooper's house.
After we ate we all sat outside and had chocolate Popsicles
She found a spinning toy and figured out that she can spin herself on it.
She loved it, and she had to clap after she would move a little bit
and she would look at everyone to make sure they were clapping too.

Camping Day 2

{5.28.2010}

The second day my dad decided he wanted to take us on a short hike up Mount Dellenbaugh.
Well it was short but it was all up hill
and when we started the hike it was cool outside so we were wearing jackets but half way up it was so hot we were carrying our jackets.
Once we got to the top it was worth it
You would look to the South and see nothing but miles of the Grand Canyon
Then you would look North and you could see all the way to Pine Valley it was ridiculous.
It was gorgeous and peaceful up there.
We didn't take Stella's carrier with us because we didn't know we were hiking the whole mountain so everyone took turns carrying Stella.
We will never forget the carrier again!

 Stella, Grammy, Anna, Laura, Me, Scott Grampy

 So Anna showed Stella how to play in the dirt
She absolutely loved it
she was covered head to toe in dirt and when I finally took it away she wasn't happy

 We definitely love camping!
