Halloween Pumpkins

{October 20}

Stella kept asking me to take her to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin. So i took her to Wal-Mart to pick out a pumpkin. She loved it and wanted them all.

Then we got home and cleaned them all up and we let her color she pumpkin.

Luckily Scott has some artistic skills because I wasn't doing so well.

She was so happy at what she did

She had to show us what she drew and what it was.

We are so excited for Halloween, we went to a trunk or treat hosted by the Bloomington Executive Suite

and she loved it, I am really excited to see her on actual Halloween this year.

She asks me every day if we are going trick or treating.

It probably doesn't help that I have been letting her wear her costume everyday, oh well.

Pregnancy Post: 17 Weeks

(That is a turnip, the size of the baby this week)



A boy! It is still so weird to think about, I just kept thinking we were having a girl because we already had one I guess.
But we are really excited. I went through all my baby items and found a couple things I can reuse for the new baby. But everything else is pink! haha

I am happy to say I have not thrown up once this pregnancy!

We took Stella to Target to pick out the first boy thing, a green elephant (which is like her teddy, but an elephant). She loved picking it out, then she thought it was hers.

I have had one craving...pickles. I didn't crave anything with Stella so that was weird.

I have gained a couple pounds but I still fit fine in my regular clothes, yay!

When we ask Stella what the baby's name is she says, "my name stella." when you explain to her the baby in my tummy she says, " oh its a baby." So she hasn't figured it out yet but she will.

Stella LOVES going to the doctors with me, she asks me every couple days if we are going. When I tell her no she gets said and tells me we have to go.
She likes watching the baby on the screen during the ultrasound. And the treats the doctor gives her, haha

Merry Go Round

On Saturday we took Stella down to the Merry Go Round at the town square.

She was so good with me working everyday while my parents were in Italy.

She deserved it!

After some rides we walked around and looked at the statues.

Stella had her favorites.

We were heading home on the boulevard with fireworks started going off from the mountain so he headed to the flood street movie theater parking lot and watched the fireworks.

Because we were so close Stella keep saying it was a volcano. 

When they ended she was very upset and wanted more.

It was a great end to a great Saturday.

When we get together with my sisters Stella ends up doing the weirdest things.

Stella had a pee accident so she just had to hang out in her shirt and panties.

She was already walking around in Laura's heels so Anna and Laura thought they should change her shirt and have her pose.

Work

Stella has learn to play by herself really well at work.

I hate that she has to be by herself so much but she usually does amazing.

Lately she has been watching a lot of movies (I wouldn't never let her watch this many moview at home)

She has been addicted to Robin Hood and just lays down and enjoys it till its over and asks me to play it again.

I am so grateful I can take her with me and that she usually doesn't mind coming with me.

Most mornings she asks to go to work but I think it is because we get to see Grammy and Papa

since they have been on vacation she doesn't asks.

Hopefully when they get back she will be happy to be at work with me.

Cold Weather

Today is the first day we hae had to wear long sleeve shirts!

I can't believe how quickly it got cold. I was hoping it would cool down slowly.

Well after Stella and I ate our lunch we sat in front of the fire place

and had oreo's and milk for dessert.

Im not a fan of up close pictures but I like pictures of Stella and I.

Conference Weekend

Since my parents are out of town and Anna and Laura came down from SUU, we decided to stay at my parents house for the weekend.

It was fun to hang out with my sisters all weekend

Anna volunteered for the marathon so Laura, Stella and I run errands and made homemade pizza.

Sunday we all sat around and watched General Confrence and had my mom's homemade lasagna.

I got my camera out twice, wish I got it out more but oh well.

After both sessions we headed over to my sister-in-laws house for annual scones.

We also celebrated my father-in-laws, Alan's birthday

Stella was in the other room playing barbie's when we sang Happy Birthday so when it was over she came walking into the kitchen with her hands on her hips and said "You Happy Birthday?" all upset.

It was so cute and hilarious, she was so made we sung without her.

I guess she wanted to show Scott all the barbie's because after Scott asked her what she was doing she came walking out with ALL the barbies in her hands.

I have no idea how she picked them all up.

It was a great weekend, but I wish my sisters lived in town!

I know Stella said something else really cute but I can't remeber.

So when I do I will add it on.
