Halloween

{10.31.2012}

I picked Stella up from school and she was running a fever!
So I gave her some Tylenol and she took a little nap.
I wasn't planning on taking her trick or treating but when my cousins showed up at the house Stella kept telling me she wasn't sick anymore and wanted to go trick or treating.
I put her costume on for some pictures and then was planning on taking her home.

 Isaac. Elijah. Stella. Sophia. Isabelle

But soon enough she was acting like herself so we met up with Greg, Lindsey and kids and hit a trunk or treat and then hit a couple of houses before heading home.

 Only smile picture I got
Must of been when she was feeling the best.

We headed home and answered the door a couple times
and put our sickie girl to bed!
All in all it was a good Halloween and Stella had a blast.

Make Up

{Sept. 10-22}

I have been interested in make up for a little while and I found out the a make up class was starting at Taylor Andrews so I signed up!
It was definitely a tiring two weeks!
I went to work till 4 everyday then dropped Stella off at Scott's work and went to school from 5-10 every night.
Let's just say not really being home for two weeks makes your house look like a tornado has gone through it!

I had lots of fun and enjoyed it very much!
On our last day we had a professional photographer come in and had our first portfolio shoot done

I choose to do peacock eyes and I think it turned out great!
I was probably the slowest in my class but I hope with practice I can get better.

Rally Day 3

{September 3}

DAY 3

On our last day we headed out to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Scott and I didn't get to stay as long as we would have like because we needed to back into town to pick up Stella.

 Fixing hair in the wind.

 Scott and I
Look how red my face is! Didn't realize how burned I got at Lake Powell

After the Grand Canyon we headed home.
Some of our friends had to go back to Salt Lake and the rest had showers and headed over to our house for so fun.

The night turned into uncontrollable laughter from Steve and Jake.
Which made everyone else lose it also.
Luckily Stella is a pretty heavy sleeper and didn't wake up once!

This was an amazing rally!
The more people who start coming the better it gets (and a little harder)
Can't wait for next years rally!!

From Jacob Lake it is about a 2 hour drive.
Are first stop was by Lee's Ferry to look at the Colorado River.

Of course I am the only one without sunglasses on! Dang it!

 Building a drip castle at Lake Powell

I didn't take lots of pictures at Lake Powell because I was swimming most of the time.

7th Annual Rally

{September 1-3}

DAY 1
We had our 7th Annual Bonnevilledubs Rally!
This was the biggest year so far
We had 18 people and 9 cars!
We had 3 Mark 1 GTI's, 1 Mark 2 Golf, 1 Scirocco, 1 Mark 2 Jetta, 1 Mark 4 GTI, 1 Mark 5 GTI, 1 Mark 4 Jetta
This year was the Southern Rally so Scott and I decided we should take everyone camping at the North Rim. So we got the largest campsite at Jacob Lake.
Saturday morning we left St. George and headed to the Jacob Lake
We definitely got some crazy looks while driving but that is the fun part of it.

 A couple of the vehicles

Ali, Tatum, Sharon
We took a little hike and ended up walking back, in slow motion, alongside the road.

Erik and Ali

Tatum and Mike
Jake and Scott

We spent the rest of the night eating, drinking hot chocolate and sitting around the campfire.
I was hoping to get pictures from everyone else before I posted because I missed a lot but I haven't been able to yet! Hopefully soon!

Updating

STELLA

Just wanting to update on how and what Stella has been doing

1. She LOVES preschool
She is very excited to go everyday and loves showing me what she does everyday.
As soon as she gets into the car she starts pulling out all her papers and hands them to me as I am driving.
2. She is having difficulties eating. I thought we were through this but I guess not.
She can go almost all day without eating and it stresses me out.
So we have started giving her Pediasure at bedtime so she doesn't wake up hungry anymore.
3. She loves writing her name. Even though most times it is not in the right order.
We practice almost everyday but it is not getting much better or it might be cause I am a horrible teacher.
4. She is completely obsessed with Pete and Michelle's new baby Kate.
She wants to know why we can't go to their house, why can't we go on a plane, can't the plane just pick us up, and it goes on and on.
We saw her on Skype and Stella couldn't take her eyes off of her!
Can't wait till Christmas when we get to see them!!
5. She is still crazy, talkative and out of control.
I can't find enough stuff for her to do and I am sad to say that when I run out I turn to movies.
She has a great imagination and that helps a lot. She definitely keeps me entertained and on my toes all day everyday.

Bucket Swimming

I haven't posted in a LONG time!
I don't have any time any more. Between work, Stella's school, and home items I am swamped!
But I am going to try and catch up a little...hopefully.

{8.11.2012}

This summer when I was too worn out to take Stella swimming she went laundry bucket swimming at my parents house.
It is also helpful when Papa gets in with her.

And of course we need Barbie's to swim because it is no fun alone.
Thank you Papa for joining Stella during her swim.
Laundry bucket swimming didn't last very long and I did end up letting her get in the swimming pool. Sometimes I just can't say no.
