 Stella was so tired by the end of the night that she fell asleep while Dan was holding her.

Lake Powell

We had a great time at Lake Powell this year.

Stella and I were sad Scott couldn't make it because of work but it was still a blast.

My family went out Wednesday

Stella and I followed Thursday Morning

and Dan and Nikki met up around 1:00

(sorry my picasa isn't working)

 Stella was so tired she fell right asleep on a chair

This year we stayed out on the Lake till about 7

and it was awesome because by the time we got back to camp it wasn't as hot

and we ate when the sun was setting, it was very enjoyable.

The first night camping went really well

Stella wonke up once in the middle of the night for about an hour then I bribed her with a treat in the morning if she went back to sleep

and she did

I went to get Stella a drink before bed and this is what I came back to

Fireworks

After swimming and our bbq we set up some fireworks.

Stella really didn't really care for the fireworks,

she really wanted to help Scott out and that was scary!

I let her use a sparkler once and it freaked the crap out of me so that was over.

It was a great 4th of July!

4th of July

I was planning on working on the 4th of July but then I didn't have to go in so

Stella and I went swimming at my parents house with Laura and Grammy.

After a good nap we headed over to the Madsen's for some more swimming and a bbq.

 Ike and Anna wanted to chicken fight so Scott and Steve helped them out.

It was really funny watching them, Scott and Steve were laughing the whole time.

We tried  Harmon's sausage and brats for the first time (the ones we provide the spices for) and they were really good.

After the bbq everyone was waiting for fireworks to start and Groundhog's Day was on tv so we ended watching it and doing a puzzle before going to set off fireworks.

Climbing Out

I am so behind on blogging so I am going to try and catch up in the next couple of days.

Well we went to Salt Lake over the weekend for a homecoming of our friend Jake.

Stella learned out how to climb out of her port-a-crib and it was extremely hard to get her to take a nap.

This is how we found her...

She got out of her crib and crashed on the bed face down.

She got into her bag of graham crackers and spread them all over the bed.
