Memorial Day

{5.30.2010}

On Memorial Day we had a dinner at my Grandma Hooper's house.

After we ate we all sat outside and had chocolate Popsicles

She found a spinning toy and figured out that she can spin herself on it.

She loved it, and she had to clap after she would move a little bit

and she would look at everyone to make sure they were clapping too.

 

Camping Day 2

{5.28.2010}

The second day my dad decided he wanted to take us on a short hike up Mount Dellenbaugh.

Well it was short but it was all up hill

and when we started the hike it was cool outside so we were wearing jackets but half way up it was so hot we were carrying our jackets.

Once we got to the top it was worth it

You would look to the South and see nothing but miles of the Grand Canyon

Then you would look North and you could see all the way to Pine Valley it was ridiculous.

It was gorgeous and peaceful up there.

We didn't take Stella's carrier with us because we didn't know we were hiking the whole mountain so everyone took turns carrying Stella.

We will never forget the carrier again!

 So Anna showed Stella how to play in the dirt 

She absolutely loved it

she was covered head to toe in dirt and when I finally took it away she wasn't happy

 We definitely love camping!

Camping Day 1

{5.27.2010}

We went camping with the Dalton clan out on the Arizona Strip to Mount Dellenbaugh.

It was a blast and Stella had a great time, as we expected.

She loves being outside and playing.

It was extremely relaxing and I can't wait until our next camp out.

 

My dad caught a lizard and Stella LOVED it.

She really wanted to hold the lizard but she kept almost crushing its head.

 We went on a little walk and we saw this sign around a property.

I don't know what the FBI is doing out on the Arizona Strip but I don't think I want to know.

 

We decided that we needed to have a contest of who could throw a rock with there left hand the farthest, I don't know who won but watching it was hilarious.

I think Anna won, haha

After Baths

{5.21.2010}

Stella loves being naked after baths and she loves eating her towel.

Then when you trying pulling the towel out of her mouth she kicks and screams, thinking you are playing with her.

So now it is a game we do every night after her bath.

Stella now has 6 teeth too, you can see the front ones in a couple of pictures 

I love this little girl so much, her smile and laughter makes me so happy even when I'm having a horrible day.

I can't believe she is 16 months old

Time has gone by so fast, too fast!!

Aquarium

{5.21.2010}

We took Stella to the Aquarium in Sandy because it was really close to were we were staying

and we were wanting to go to the Zoo but it was super cold and raining.

Stella loved all the animals

and the fact that her cousins were with her.

The picture of Stella crying is because we wouldn't let her play in the water anymore.

She didn't agree with us :)

So the pictures are all weird because my computer didn't agree with me so I finally gave up.

After the Wedding

{5.20.2010}

We were in Salt Lake for 4 days for our friends, Mike and Tatum's wedding.

Because I was so busy with the wedding cake and helping my sister-in-law finish decorating for the reception,

I forgot to grab my camera!

So I am waiting for the photographer to put the pictures up on his site, so as soon as he does I will post a pic of the cake.

But after we got back to the house

I grabbed the camera to take a couple pictures of Stella

Mike and Tatum had a pinata at there wedding and Stella got 6 suckers out of it.

She didn't want anything else but the suckers

I don't think she knew what they were because she has never had a sucker

But I think she liked that she could carry a lot at once

3 in each hand!
